Our Structured Cabling course covers work with CAT 5, CAT 6, and beyond, on domestic or commercial premises. The course is designed so participants can prepare and achieve the required skills and knowledge to competently comply with the Australian Standard (AS/CA S009:2020), to place, secure, and terminate structured cabling for indoor and outdoor installations and certify the installation within a domestic, commercial or industrial client’s premises.
The course applies to technical staff who install, terminate, and certify structured cabling installations for communications applications including digital and analogue, telephony, data, video, digital broadcasting, computer networks, local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and multimedia.
The Structured Cabling Course is also beneficial for security technicians who install structured cables for security cameras or alarm systems.
